After the postponement of the weekend’s top-of-the-table clash with Frimley Green, New Milton Town return to action tomorrow with a home fixture against 19th-placed Verwood.
As league leaders, the Brickmakers will look to maintain their long unbeaten run in the Wessex League Division One at the M.A. Hart Stadium with a statement performance where Toby Bailey and Dan Bartlett will be available for selection after signing last week.
Matt Maybury said the following ahead of the fixture.
"Although we beat Verwood by a score of 5-1 just a few weeks ago, they had us on the ropes for 20 minutes when they got a goal back, so we can’t take anything for granted and will need to be on it from minute one tonight"

LEAGUE FORM GUIDE - WESSEX LEAGUE DIV.1
New Milton Town continue to set the standard in the league, boasting a near-perfect record of 9 wins and a draw in their last 10 matches (WWWWWWDWWW) and confidence will be sky-high after their emphatic 4-0 victory over Cove in their last outing.
Verwood Town, on the other hand, have had a tough campaign and find themselves battling near the foot of the table. Their recent form (LDWLDLLLLW) highlights their inconsistency, but a hard-fought 3-1 win in their last match could provide them with much belief.
HEAD TO HEAD - NEW MILTON VS VERWOOD TOWN
The rivalry between New Milton Town and Verwood Town has been competitive over the years, with New Milton edging the head-to-head record since 2008 with ten wins, three draws, and five defeats.
Their most recent encounter occurred just before Christmas when the Brickmakers ran out dominant 5-1 winners at Potterne Park. Brad Snelling was among the scorers that day with a brilliant hat trick, and he’ll aim to replicate that form in front of the home crowd.
