TERRIFIC FOOTBALL, TERRIFIC MUSIC - IT'S DOUBLE WHAMMY DAY AT THE GD PRINT STADIUM!

THERE'S no doubt Saturday will be the best day of the year so far at the GD Print Stadium with a double-whammy of terrific entertainment. In the afternoon it’s the big football derby between the Brickies and Brockenhurst in the first round of the FA Vase (3pm). In the evening, in the Brickies Bar at the clubhouse (7.30pm), there is top class entertainment with Pompey-based teenage singing star Nevaeh as part of the Sham Rocks Music Festival series. Nevaeh is a young sensation, who has performed already alongside artistes such as Matt Goss, Beverley Knight and Sam Bailey. She has performed at major UK events and venues, such as Wembley Arena (with Voice In A Million), the Southampton International Boat Show and the Victorious Festival. She has also released original tracks including "January" (which surpassed 13,000 streams) and her single "Need You On My Mind," which came out last month has been well-received. As well as her own music she will be performing a whole series of classic cover numbers. So Nevaeh will certainly be “on song” - and let’s hope the Brickies will be as well as. For once, they are underdogs against higher-division Brock. Full match preview tomorrow.
