TONIGHT WILL BE A GOOD TEST OF "BRICKIE-ABILITY"!

TONIGHT (Friday 14th) we make our first away Wessex League trip of the season - and, ironically, it’s to the “Brickability” Stadium at Fawley. The hope is that there will be plenty of “Brickie Ability” about the place as we try to translate our sizzling home form into road trip glory. While we have a 6-1 defeat of Cove and a 3-1 win over Aldermaston to show for our efforts so far, a maximum six out of six points, Fawley have started their season with seven points from three games. They started with a 1-1 draw at home to Lymo, but then landed a a classy 1-0 win away to Hamworhy United following up with a hard-fought 2-1 win away to Folland Sports last weekend. That leaves them second in the table, equal on points with leaders Sandhurst. New Milton sit third, level on points with the only other team with maximum points so far, Frimley Green, who have also won two out of two. So although it’s still very early in the season, Fawley will definately provide a good test of the Brickies’ potential.
