Neil Langridge To Stay With First Team

It’s with great pride that we announce that Neil Langridge has joined the First Team coaching staff permanently.

He led our Under-18s to Hampshire Youth Cup glory earlier this year and has been a popular figure in the First Team dugout this season.

Neil will, of course, continue with the Under-18s.

First Team manager Matt Maybury had the following to say.

"It was a no-brainer to get Neil on board with us permanently. I've been trying for a while, but he has a lot of commitments with the Under-18s, too, so I'm delighted that he has agreed to come in with Andy and me.

Andy occasionally has commitments with AFC Bournemouth, so Neil has been in and around, helping out a lot recently anyway. The lads respect him, and he is well-liked by everyone at the club.

With Rich Pepper, Luke Dennison and Lauren McNiven on board too, I couldn't be happier with the group of staff that we have"

Our Under-18s play this coming Sunday away from home, and Neil was personally chuffed with our attendance for their 1-0 win over Wimborne Town two days ago. He'll be working a doubleheader with the First Team at Clanfield on Saturday this coming weekend.
