New Milton Sign Nathan Gray

New Milton Town Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of Nathan Gray, who joins the Brickmakers from Wessex League Division One side Fleetlands ahead of the 2025/26 season after a prolific time in front of goal last year.

Gray arrives at Fawcetts Field with a growing reputation as a proven goal scorer, having netted 18 goals for Fleetlands last season. A dynamic and instinctive forward, he adds serious firepower to the attacking options available to first-team manager Matt Maybury, who has monitored Gray’s development closely over the past year.

“I’ve known Nath for a while, and we spoke about him coming in through part of last season, but for whatever reason, it didn’t happen,” said Maybury.

“He has trained with us a few times in pre-season, and I’ve been really impressed. He scored 18 for Fleetlands last season, so he knows where the net is. I think he’ll complement the attacking quality we’ve got really well and will offer us something different.”

Known for his clever movement and natural finishing ability, he’s relishing the challenge of making an impact in the Wessex League Premier Division.

“Really pleased to be joining New Milton Town for the season ahead – it’s been a long time coming,” said Gray.

“I've been close with the gaffer ever since we spoke last season, and had I not been at a club that treated me so well, I’d have joined then. I know a few of the boys already and can’t wait to get stuck in!”

Grey becomes the latest addition – after Harry Morgan – to an increasingly sharp-looking New Milton squad, as the club continues to build positively ahead of the new campaign.
